2. It's monochromatic as it is, to change it to B&W would substitute neutral grey

for warm sepia. That's a large part of what I like about everything in this week's page update, it's all monochromatic by the nature of the subject!

4. Yeah, I really got into looking for the shapes and textures.

There are 17 others like it at SmugMug. So many repeating patterns, soft undulating shapes and subtle tonality changes. All from a cluster of mushrooms a little bigger than my fist.

I ate them last night with a nice ribeye but fear not, I've ordered another grow kit with pink oyster mushrooms! You'll see in a couple of weeks.
