This is one of our favorite campgrounds.

Just a few miles from Boulder City, NV looks right over Lake Mead, in the Lake Mead Recreational area. Great area, some amazingly nice campgrounds.

We're headed to Scenic AZ* to meet up with a bunch of our friends. Normally we'd be at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Nascar race, but tRumps response has canceled that, so were going to meet and party like it was a race weekend, without the added cost of about $1,000 per person.

Next time we're here we'll make the trip. Thanks for the idea.

This works on so many levels. Normally a blank blue sky is a bland nothing but using it as a highlight against the contrasting color and texture of the stone is breathtaking.

Elliot Porter would be proud.
