(13,092 posts)He looks like a cat that lives at my house - Don Chat.
The name comes from my Scottish Clan's motto on Gaelic - ""Na bean don chat gun lamhainn" - Don't touch the ungloved cat. A cat is ungloved when the retractable claws are out like KC's.

(12,934 posts)Yes. I have felt those ungloved claws.

(12,934 posts)in which I explained how I learned to upload a photograph without all the advertising on it. I experimented with Othello's gorgeous photo and it came out without all the postimage advertising.
If you try it out, when you first upload a picture into postimage, instead of using that link in your message box, just right-click on the picture and you'll see a choice to "open link in new tab." Do that, then in the new tab, right-click on the photo and you'll see a box in which you can "copy image address." Left-click on that option, then paste it into your DU message box and the photo should appear without any advertising.
Hope it works. If not please let me know.
Thanks!
Allan

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
