Perhaps once jobs are more available I might shop for a good tele.

which "stock" lens do you have? i assume you mean a kit zoom....probably the 18-55 or 70-200, or something like that.

i like the silhouettes of the trees (or whatever they are) on the left, adding some context.
when you photograph the moon, what settings (shutter speed, aperture, ISO) are you using and were you zoomed to 400mm for this shot?

I like them there too.
I was using F8, shutter speed 10/800, ISO 100. And yes, I was zoomed to 400mm for this shot.
