They can run in that pasture, when they feel like it, but in retirement they're mostly lazy grazers.

One horse says to the other, once we walk through that gate, it's over. They'll close us in again, back a trailer up to the metal gate, and the only out is to go for a ride.
I mean, if I was a horse and saw that, call it horse sense if you will.

There is such a thing as "horse sense," communication with one another. Hard to stay one step ahead of them sometimes.
