By Andy Gibb comes to mind. I am using your top image of Shadow fully upright, with her paws off the ground as my home screen wallpaper. Shadow looks to be a mix but does appear to have some Aussie, right? Aussies are my spirit animal.

Thank You for making Shadow your wallpaper - I am honored. Y'know, when we adopted her we were sure she was part Aussie, but it turned out she is mostly Border Collie and Blue Heeler.

She came from a local pet rescue group. One day the rescue collected a litter of ten very young puppies from a barn where they'd been neglected. My wife and I brought her home at eight weeks old. She is three and a half now and has been a joy all along.

I almost shed a tear there. "Hemi," our Blue Heeler, aka Australian Cattle Dog, was over 17 when she had a seizure and never recovered. Hemi, true to the breed, was so absolutely attached to my wife she was like her "Shadow."

I love canines, be it a Dachshund or a Wolf!

Thanks for the post!

But I am a luddite when it comes to getting them on here to share. Hemi was in many ways an archetype Blue Heeler. Look on Wiki for Australian Cattle Dog and the first image there could easily be of her.

When people say 2020 was a cruel year it was! We lost Hemi, and my beloved "Rava" an Australian Shepard, and several close relatives. I am doing fine now and look forward to the future with a new Aussie, Chey (Shy) who unfortunately is attached to my wife! She was supposed to be my running companion. She is really shy and is not into Frisbee fetching OR runs.

My best, Joe StClone!

I guess my grandfather was a luddite of sorts. He refused purchasing a microwave when they first came out because he was concerned about the "X-rays." I'm glad you like pictures of Shadow. Glad you made it through last year and can enjoy Chey depite her human preference.

I appreciate your communication. I am new to DU and have been pleasantly pleased by members' responses to my postings. Above all it is encouraging to be a part of a group of people who know what our country needs and can see it coming. Here already, in fact, even though requblicans are trying to bring us all down. I've been down for four years. Feels real good to be rising from the mold.

I have been here since 2003. But, I left for a time when there was an influx of paid provocateurs throwing monkey wrenches where ever they could. They are still trying but not as successful in provoking confusion, misinformation, and distractions.

I like to think we are a caring sharing place where I add my little 2 cents. Heartening to see your posts and gratified you feel a part of our little corner here.
