I've been growing rhubarb for years, but was too preoccupied with life's travails to really notice how beautiful this stage of growth is.

After the past 6 years of grief and worry, I'm determined to open up my eyes and appreciate the wonders of the earth around me. Don't even get me started on how excited I was to witness a robin actually pulling an earthwork out of the ground, and gobbling it down. Again, something that I've just been overlooking.

Good for you taking the time to appreciate the beauty in the world that is still there. Something we all, could benefit from doing.
