(27,823 posts)I've been transplanting some from 'inconvenient' spots to a garden I hope to turn into a dedicated garlic bed. In other places I'm thinning out the scrawny stuff but leaving the 'robust' ones where they are. A few years back I had one plant that produced a head the size of a billiard ball.
From what I'm seeing, this looks to be a pretty good garlic season.
