News from the photo front . . .

Pany says the GH6 is definitely on it's way. Possible new Sony 30+ meg sensor and 8k video.

The White House has gone to Sony Mirrorless FF as camera of choice retiring the Canon DSLR line.

Canon MAY be retiring a number of EF lenses as they move more to Mirrorless. I'd look for some deals if that were my system.

I've read that about nine months ago Associated Press photographers began using Sonys exclusively. The standard kit is an a9 Mark II and a couple of lenses. Seeing photos from experienced hands employing this top-notch camera is quite an experience.

Oh but what the heck - Olympus still works for me!

It was a noise issue. Too much mirror noise during press conferences.

The WH move is a stand alone decision.

Most people don't even realize that Sony make the sensors for Nikon(or care) .
