Right place, right time. Beautiful! What kind of camera and lens do you have?

Sitting on the beach, camera in hand, but still lucky! Camera is a Nikon D610 with a Nikon zoom 80-400 lens.

Used to pair it with my D3s. Do you have the newest version of that lens?

I'm passing on it, I like this one. I went with a zoom that went to 500, I'm thinking it was a Tamron but I might be wrong. I thought I liked it at first and sold my 80-400. Turned out the 500 was really, really not as good, despite the stronger zoom. Great. So I had to buy another 80-400. It's a happy and working combo for me so I stick with it.

Used to get great bird shots. Sharp focus, wonderful clarity. Glad you purchased another one! I'll start looking for your postings.
