I am deeply touched by your beautiful prose.

I hadn't expected to see the moon tonight, and the sight thrilled me!

It could not have been better.

I thought it was very imaginative and so I'm using it!

The shape of this crescent moon does look rather like a scythe to me.

I knew the most recent crescent moon marked the start of Ramadan. I tried to make a connection where none existed.

And yes, Ramadan does start with the crescent moon. I think it's very cool that you can make those associations. Many folks cannot.

I hadn't expected to see it, since our skies have been very cloudy lately. But there it was and it galvanized me!

The title was suggested by a dear friend of mine and I like it a lot.
