(155,995 posts)You'll need a photo hosting site to launch your collage onto DU. There's a thread at the top of the page that explains how you can accomplish that.
I'd love to see your collage!

(4,719 posts)I am using a Google browser. I think the collage image and link show automatically on some of the other browsers.
If I right-click the broken-file-icon, I can get the collage image to appear in a new window. I will be in touch with your to see this through.

(19,656 posts)You are really branching out from your moon shots. First rhubarb and now this beautiful shot.

(155,995 posts)Actually, the moon is a recent obsession......I shot a lot of beach photos (like this one) right after I got my first digital camera, the Nikon D50.
And since I was scrolling through my ancient photos from 2006, I ran across this photo. And the rest, as they say, was history!

(155,995 posts)We're a suburb of Los Angeles. That should enable you to find the latitude.

(7,349 posts)One of my favorite beaches in LA county! On beach days if the 405 was a parking lot wed backtrack and go to Zuma Beach which was my all time favorite as we often saw dolphins but the water was always too cold! That drive from the valley (we lived in Toluca Lake) through Malibu was always breathtaking! But then we missed out on the Manhattan Beach Pier and boardwalk. LA traffic.....ugh! I had to pass the 405 exchange on the 101 daily for my job in Woodland Hills. Sometimes the 101 was like a 12 lane race track, other times a parking lot! I sure miss that gorgeous blue sky in Cali!

(155,995 posts)The 405 is still very busy, and I'm sure the 101 is as well.

(155,995 posts)For me, 2006 is ancient! I hardly ever look that far back.
I guess I'll start looking in a more methodical manner. I was scrolling through last night, and ran across several that made me pause.
So there will be more!
