i firgured id give it one more shot. 300 30 sec exposures thru a fisheye pointed at polaris from my backyard.
this will have to do until i can get to a real dark location

(20,633 posts)I've been looking in since your first attempt, and the improvement with each one is remarkable. I like how you put the tree and fence in there for perspective. The lighting is spot on perfect.
Maybe you shouldn't quit yet.
