(36,733 posts)a perfect halloween-ish moon as i peered up at it through the tree branches.
(there were only two things missing: the cool night air of october & the starkness of the branches--tonight they are covered in leaves)

(33,214 posts)I could see it here, too. Went out about 10 pm intending to sit in my lounge chair with my feet up watching the night sky and listening to night sounds. But the cushions were damp! Agh. It hadn't rained--the sky was clear--but there was lightning in the distance. It was a meteorological puzzle. Usually a clear sky means it is dry.
