***Announcing the Theme for the July contest: Abandoned***

sinkingfeeling chose the theme. Here is what he said about it:

I would like to use 'Abandoned' as a theme. It would include any inanimate object: places, machinery, vehicles, buildings, tools, etc. Just no abandoned people, animals, or plants.

For example: this is a photo from the Pripyat, Ukraine amusement park near Chernobyl.

Please start thinking about this, and planning or shooting something that works with this theme! I will post the schedule for the contest tomorrow, or maybe later today.

I will start submissions after the Fourth of July has passed.

I so look forward to seeing what comes in. We had the annual trash pick up from the curb collection last week, and I had my cellphone. So I don't even have to look through my archives.
Now, with my eyes still a mess, I can't decide on which subtleties of color are good.....
But I'll put it in ASAP - because Peggy is running this one to help me, who should be doing it.
