We took my nephew and sister who were visiting from Florida to Wolf Hollow in Ipswich Ma. a couple of weekends ago. Great place to get a quick education on wolves, and, well, some pictures.

I've heard about situations where the wolves can't live in the wild anymore, and wonder if these beautiful animals were dealing with that.
How wonderful it must have been to get up close to them. Your photos are gorgeous!
Thank you for sharing.

(126 posts)Almost all of their wolves come from ranches in the west with wolves that have pups. Not exactly sure where the wolves on the ranches come from. They may be rescues.
They get them when they are very small and raise them by hand.
Wolf Hollow has a license to breed, however they don't. They would rather concentrate on educating the public.
Nice story of Askulee & Gaia from their website below! Unfortunately because of the enclosures we couldn't get any good pictures of the two of them, but they do semi private photo shoots and I'm thinking of going back in the winter when their fur coats are full, and they stand out in the white snow.
