The shaking is amazing, and at the same time, it's very controlled. Beautiful results!

... which was just what it sounds like. But less extreme forms of "kinetic photography" can achieve interesting results: Camera Shake: Not Just For Deleting Anymore

This was the second frame trying to show sunlight through a tree. I set the f/stop way too high and clicked, but after a split second the shutter hadn't snapped so I just lowered the viewfinder and found this image on the LCD. Was going to delete, but, like the article you linked says: "Think of camera shake not as an accident of using a slow shutter speed but as a tool for creating forms and shapes that wouldn't have otherwise been in the photo, or enhancing the shapes that are already there."

And that's exactly what happened! Creativity. (But I won't be tossing my Olympus in the air . . .)
