The rest is history.

(15,526 posts)... that I can see the Moon with so much smoke in the air! I'm in Ohio, and the odor from the wildfires out West have been so strong that it seems more like most of the homes on my street had burnt to the ground instead!

(156,592 posts)It's an Olympus digital lens, 75--300mm.
It has superb image stabilization, which means that almost no matter how much my hands/arms shake, the photo won't!
The camera was hand-held and some post-processing with Paint Shop Pro was used on the photo.
I am thrilled with my results.
