Gone In 1 Second

The camera takes 8 frames a second, so this sequence was 1 second of time. With the naked eye it was naught but a blur.

I find the precision between the mother and chick at that speed astounding!

And any one of these would certainly work in this month's contest. In fact, your post title sounds completely like it.

Super photo!

My nephew is a professional and does ultra high speed. Like drops water splashing and glass breaking. He spends lots on the latest cameras.

When I moved into my current place in 2009, some birds build a nest, and ever since, up until this year, I've raised a family of whatever they are. I have no idea why no bird moved in this year, but I've missed them.

I have only taken a few pictures, none of which are remotely as interesting as yours. Thank you so much for posting.

Goldfinches have been visiting the Sunflowers in my yard. By the time I run in to get the camera, they are gone.

Congratulations!

It looks like a swallow to me, but I don't know what kind.
