The camera takes 8 frames a second, so this sequence was 1 second of time. With the naked eye it was naught but a blur.
I find the precision between the mother and chick at that speed astounding!

(28,493 posts)When I moved into my current place in 2009, some birds build a nest, and ever since, up until this year, I've raised a family of whatever they are. I have no idea why no bird moved in this year, but I've missed them.
I have only taken a few pictures, none of which are remotely as interesting as yours. Thank you so much for posting.
