Damn I am tired.

And getting behind a fire line before most of the fire people get there CAN be dicey... GOD, I got some good photos, but damn, it was a dicey... all for journalism...
Freaky thing, some of the people watching from the I\C (Incident command center), were residents where I actually took photos. So I shared them with them right there, and I'll be darned and lucky, none of the structures I photographed were theirs...

One of those where I took my photo and yes, BAILED... winds were getting freaky, and I had a feeling of this could really be bad, So just backed away and moved.
Oh, by the way, the truck has a nice smell of burning crap on it. Ah wonderful smell.

(154,021 posts)Shockey Fire has burned 2000+ acres.
20 homes are lost, and 10 damaged, with 15 outbuildings lost.
Also, as of last night the southern leg of the main power line going to San Diego (and Northern Baja), was under threat by the fire.
So if per chance we lose power, that is one reason.

They found one civilian dead in the ruble of a house yesterday.
We also will be spending the day up there.
