Keeping watch

This one goose didn't move while his buddies were grazing this morning in back of my house by the pond.

He really was standing guard. Didn't move at all, until the other three had walked away from where they were feeding.

This afternoon, after it started raining, they were back and went to wade and drink in a stream of fresh water running down the hill.
