I used to live next to a large airport with yearly airshows.

Sat in my back yard and watched the Thunderbirds do their practice runs overhead.
One time they were flying low due to low cloud ceiling and it was chillingly amazing.
I could see how the USAF could scare the hell out of enemy combatants on the ground.

Oh that is so cool, a female pilot, most excellent picture!
