Related: About this forumCorel Software on sale
For those who want/need some post-processing software and don't want to pay a huge amount for Photoshop, HumbleBundle just put up a Corel software bundle that includes:
Paint Shop Pro
AfterShot
Painter
And a bunch of other stuff
To get everything, it's just under $39. There's a 12 item subset which includes Paint Shop Pro and AfterShot but it's only $2 cheaper so unless you really need that $2 it's probably best to go for the full bundle.
So, if you're looking for a Photoshop alternative and Corel's offerings are appealing, it's a good time to grab it. (The bundle will be there for another 16 days.)

Is Corel on a subscription basis, or are you buying a permanent license?
For example:
I bought a "license" for Quickbooks...when i didn't purchase their latest "update", I could no longer download transactions from the bank, CC's, etc, and have to manually enter EVERY transaction...even though the when i purchased the "license" I could do all those things.

(4,122 posts)Doesnt look like this offer is either. Its not their latest version which is why its bundled so cheap, I imagine.
Been using Corel stuff for decades and its really quite good. A ton of features in Corel Draw were eventually implemented in Adobe Illustrator but its always been half as expensive.

(1,407 posts)For each item in the bundle, if it's a subscription, it'll indicate the length of the subscription underneath the product name. For example, Here's a link to an article that has an image of the bundle I bought last year: https://www.cnet.com/tech/services-and-software/get-a-2000-corel-graphics-software-bundle-for-30/ . Under CorelDraw Graphics Suite 2020, you'll notice it says "6-month Subscription".

(14,559 posts)I've been using it for years. Has all the features of PhotoShop (except focus stacking so far), almost all Photoshop plug ins work, is a single license (you never have to upgrade or subscribe), is as user friendly as any I've tried (none really are) and has tons of Youtube tutorials. All for $40?!
