An osprey came to visit. (This one is for elleng).

I looked out my window and saw this beauty about a block away. Everything else gets put on hold when an Osprey comes to visit. I'll try to post some more pics tonight.

8. We live across from a creek.

Yes, we do have creeks in L.A. 😆😉

I've seen this critter in the neighborhood before. He will sometimes hang out on top of this tall pine tree. Eventually the crows chase him away.

Funny story... I had just stepped out of the shower when I spotted him on the next street over. I got dressed in thirty seconds and grabbed the camera that I leave set up for birds. This time it all worked out.

I'll try to post some more tonight.

5. Fantastic, and what a handsome guy!

I assume this is a male because he doesn't have much brown on his chest. (The girls usually have a dark "necklace" of brown.)
