(5,420 posts)the sea birds sort of clustered in the wet sand. Did you take these photos from different locations? Or maybe it just looks that way. Very peaceful, relaxing post.

(149,663 posts)I was actually in the same place, but facing north for the first photo, and south for the sea gull photo.
They do have a very different vibe! But it was all on the same beach.

(149,663 posts)I did do some judicious cropping, which turned slightly ordinary photos into some rather better ones, if I do say so myself!
Cropping is something I really enjoy doing. I have cropped photos that I wasn't sure would be any good, and found myself astonished at how good they really were.
