This amazing mountain was captured on film back in 2006 (I think.)

And, zooming in, do I see the tracks of a skier or two, and a bit of an avalanche?

It's possible there are skier tracks or a bit of an avalanche. It was very quiet that day.

We rode a train to this viewing point; I don't recall seeing any village up there.

And the image is sharp, must've been pretty low ISO film.

The blacks are just where you'd want them and the highlights are not blown out -- just beautiful.

What a fun image to look at. Thanks for sharing!
