Nicely done family portrait!
Beautiful ocean pics, too! Such dramatic skies.

(156,652 posts)The kids are running circles around everyone! The rest of us wonder just where did our agility go???
The mirror makes an excellent place for a group portrait. I discovered this a couple of years ago, and now it's a family tradition.
The sea and sky were great-looking too!
It was a wonderful day.

(19,758 posts)My favorite is the woman, young man and doggie. However the shot looking into the mirror of the whole gang is also a winner!
CaliforniaPeggy
(156,652 posts)Yeah, I rather like that photo too! The young woman is my younger daughter and the young man is her middle child and second son! He is now 6'1" and at 14 years old to boot!
He's already taller than his father!

CaliforniaPeggy
(156,652 posts)Yeah, I kinda did think something like wine was going on with your daughter!
All your outfits look great and colorful!
Christmas Eve photos are every bit as good as Christmas Day ones! I expect you were busy...
Thank you so much for sharing!

(156,652 posts)The really cool thing about us? We're Democrats and we've all had our vaccines and boosters! Everyone here believes in science.
We're quite fortunate that we can usually all get together on the major holidays. Nobody has a super long drive so that makes it possible.

CaliforniaPeggy
(156,652 posts)You know, I didn't see it till you mentioned it. But it DOES look like a monster emerging!
Good thing it's just a cloud!

(12,142 posts)Wonderful photos. Why do boys/young men never seem to be affected by the cold?
CaliforniaPeggy
(156,652 posts)The boys and young men probably have more active metabolisms and that most likely keeps them warm.

(4,132 posts)Hope you enjoyed Christmas and will have a very happy New Year. Thank you for all the lovely photos you post on DU.
CaliforniaPeggy
(156,652 posts)Actually, this group isn't particularly artistic, as far as I know. I got my inspiration from my mom and passed it on to my older daughter, who isn't present in this group.
We had a lovely day and also hope for a very happy new year! You can bet that my photo threads will continue!
