1. When I read your title, I thought that

you were posting a photo of some type of pastry! I must be hungry.

Nice photos though. I've never seen a flower like this.

But I can see why you'd think so, from the title. They are unusual! We have some in our yard, but these are not those. I saw these at the Farmer's Market I went to on Thursday.

3. Awesome photos of a great plant. Unfortunately, here in Wisconsin we have to grow it as an

annual or bring it indoors for the winter. A local nursery had the plants in red, yellow and pink last year. I love how your pics captured the unique texture of the flowers & stems.

The camera has a macro setting which I used to get these. It just does the great DOF all by itself!
