(156,301 posts)It's a relatively new lens--and maybe I haven't posted many photos with it yet. It's an Olympus 14-42 mm with the capacity to zoom in and out. I find it very versatile!
Glad you like the photos.

(156,301 posts)The piece is a bas-relief that hangs on the wall here in my study. It's probably 2 feet high by 3 feet wide, approx.
No idea what it's made out of. I found it in a catalog that featured ancient statues, weapons, maybe even clothing. Tapestries too.
When I first saw this piece, I knew I had to have one, even though at that time, I had no place for it! But when we moved into our newly built home, there was the space.
And I've had it there opposite me and my computer, ever since. It's a treasure!
Sorry I didn't answer sooner; I've been running errands and doing laundry, and completely forgot. But I had to sit down, and then I remembered!

(22,777 posts)I don't expect people are at their computers and phones all the time, and figure they'll get to me when they can. It's a beautiful piece and am enjoying your photos of it, the play between the light and the shadows.
