This was tough! The angle was high plus the sky is quite bright indeed. So I stopped it down a bit which helps. I knew if I didn't get it now, it would be much tougher later, with the trees etc in the way.

Lots of detail. Plus the sky is a very interesting color. Was this taken in the late afternoon?

Yeah, the sky is an interesting color. I took the shot just before 5 pm, local time. So I guess my answer is yes, it was taken in the late afternoon!

I appreciate your coming by for a look.

Yeah, the sky's color is important.

I used a feature that the camera has: exposure compensation. This means that you turn a dial one way or the other to get the proper exposure (the color you want!). I can do this through the lens, which is one of the benefits of a mirrorless camera.

I never knew there could be so much going on when you take a photo!
