** I ** figured ** out ** what my problem was with posting the photos

I got my pc guru to look over the possibilities. He sat with my computer and watched me show what I had attempted, that i posted the preamble words and then the links to the photos all at the same time and that messed up the sizes. Though it did not do that in the preliminary threads.

When he removed from the text any of the things I had specified in it to make the text look better, such as "bold" and "excerpt" it all posted just fine.

Who knew?

Even for the guru is was a hit and miss and

it did not even take

it was just a fluke.

I was going to make it up to all of you and sign up for another stint as host but noticed all slots are filled.
So I owe you one, and will be on standby.

4. So you discovered the secret to being a computer "guru"

It's often just "punching every button until something works".

From experience, one knows roughly what to try (html codes. menu options, settings) and try them, one does.

A note to non-gurus: Helping out over the phone is hell to do, with slow feedback, or no feedback.

So glad that you got someone who could sit down and watch and fiddle.

I am new here and still learning to navigate and post pictures (stay tuned).

So few photography posts make it to the "front page" that I figured to go to the group page.
