Discovered this morning

Cedar Waxwing I happed upon this morning. It showed no signs of being attacked by a predator so I am going to assume it had ingested something toxic. I was enthralled by the drops of water and the peaceful repose when I took the shot, all the time wondering what misfortune had befallen upon this beautiful bird.

Might not be toxins. Might be Avian Flu (Northeast?) or other disease. Or old age. . . .nt Bernardo de La Paz Feb 2022 #2
Beautiful photo, but how sad. ♥ CaliforniaPeggy Feb 2022 #3

Any windows/doors around? Several died here, after apparently flying or being tossed by wind into such.
