3. I see the woman playing for change must be singing a lament since she's barring an

A-minor chord. I love the French guitarists ever since I became familiar with
Django Reinhardt.

4. I think she was playing jazz manouche but I don't remember the tune.

Lots of musicians here in Aix because there is a music school.

6. We went to a Melody Gardot concert in Marseille and a jazz manouche violinist opened for her

Unfortunately I can't remember her name. Totally wonderful player.

And Ms Gardot was her marvellous self.
