Holy Cow - can't believe JLD won again. I have only watched Veep

once and it was ridiculously vapid - with JLD dropping gratuitous F bombs.

There has GOT to be some other appeal..is this show some kind of ridicule of GOPers? Trump?

There are so many extremely talented, very funny women out there. Kaitlin Olson from The Mick has the comedic talent of a Lucy.

my two cents anyway. I loved JLD in Seinfeld btw

EVERYONE doesn't like her that much. Even she is smart enough to know she doesn't deserve it.

From competition like John Lithgow did. I think HBO voters vote as a block...all studios have a certain number of members

seems like Modern Family keeps getting nominated - and thought that was over. Too late to withdraw name with any dignity IMHO. John Laroquette did it too. And think Murphy Brown - Candace Bergen.

She has created a thoroughly despicable, outrageous, realistic political character we can laugh at so hard it hurts!

That's hard to do. Look at the reaction to the comedy bit Sean Spicer did last night.

"The Mick" is also outrageously funny, but it is more of a standard sitcom. Those "kids" might deserve Emmy's - particularly the youngest one!

is Shameless how Shameless gets overlooked. They did throw Macy a bone - but the kids on that show really shine.
