'Lucifer' Canceled By Fox After 3 Seasons

http://deadline.com/2018/05/lucifer-canceled-fox-3-seasons-1202384889/

A low-key midseason entry in 2016, Lucifer, from Warner Bros. TV, exceeded expectations, earning a second-season renewal, a Season 2 back order and an early Season 3 renewal — all within nine months. Last season, Lucifer ran head-to-head in the ratings with its higher-profile, bigger-budget Monday lead-in Gotham, both averaging a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating in Live+Same Day and and 1.9 in L+7.

First they kill my sitcoms, and now my drama.

I'm finally free of Fox.

Especially since Lucifer was such as likable character. The one time I saw it, I thought he was hot .

I watched it (religiously) because Tom Ellis (Lucifer) had such delightful devilish glee in being as bad as you can get.

I, too, wondered how long this could continue on broadcast TV. It did better with "Gotham" in tandem on Mondays.

Who the hell was watching it - besides me? Now I know.

Article made it worrisome "Gotham" will return - same kind of ratings.

"Gotham" is one of the best 'superhero/supervillain' shows I have ever seen! I thought we were all mad for superhero shows?

While it was radically changed from the comic series, what we got really excelled because of Tom Ellis in the leading role. I really came to like most of the cast and the addition of Ella really made for some great energy.

on their favorite conservative TV channel. Well, not counting all them dang demon libruls that show up regularly for their bashing.

They had Married With Children, The Simpsons, and King of the Hill. Funny how times have changed -- and so have I.

I am gutted that Lucifer has been canceled and am hopeful that Netflix or some other streaming service will pick it up.

They were filmed awhile ago and take place before the finale and were going to be standalone episodes in season 4. So there's a little more - just pre-finale material.
