Anybody watch The Village on NBC?

One of the things I hate doing is investing my time on a new series that will most likely get canceled. Well, I got hooked on this mid-season series. I love the diversity and multi-generational story lines. Of course it’s a drama, but I loved getting to know the characters. Hope it gets renewed!

1. The worst is getting hooked and then it gets canceled abruptly with lots of cliff hanger/loose ends

That's what happened with HBO's Deadwood 12 years ago and FINALLY, in one week they will do a HBO movie that is meant to at least address some of the anger the fans had at it just ending with any notice.

We shall see.

2. Yes! Flash Forward is a series that only aired one season and left us hanging!

I’m cautious about wasting my time, but The Village hooked me. I’m trying to find a good Parenthood-like series. I miss that show.

5. I liked Battle Creek.

It was gone after one season.

Beware of anything they put on Sunday nights. It will be doomed by late football games and awards shows.

They never give those shows a chance to build an audience.

6. I watched the whole season and I absolutely love it.

On the season finale, I was yelling at the TV that they better renew the show!
