Surviror Sucks!

No not the web forum (which I always found fun to look through), I mean this season of survivor. Its terrible. The casting is the problem. None of them are interesting and the play has been abysmal.

I mean the best player so far has been Kim, but she is projecting her moves so badly that even these fools on with her this season can figure out what she is doing. I would have enjoyed seeing her on a season with at least one other decent player, but instead she is on with these pathetic wannabes. I truly can not stand this season.

So they finally got rid of Troyzan, who was so blind to Kim's obvious actions that he did not use the idol effectively top ensure his place in the game. Instead, he used it to go home one week later. He caught on 2 weeks too late.
Chelsea, who I find incredibly attractive and is certainly fun to look at, has the ability to still win this game and yet she will be ousted by Kim soon because she is a weak player. Sabrina was on the verge of going home, but was saved by Kat being the idiot that she is. This whole season was a waste of time. I kept waiting for someone to do something interesting. Instead we saw a pagoning and now bad play on the side of the winning tribe. Its boring to watch. I commend Kim for controlling the game, but not too much because she is not really a good player.

Sabrina earned my respect when she spoke up for Tarzan and Christina, saying she would have chosen them if she won immunity. I was glad to see Kat voted off. I have seen a few immature players before but she takes the cake. Alicia, Tarzan and Christina are living on borrowed time at this point in the game. Sabrina could still make some good moves and save herself. She is a good physical competitor too, which could win her immunity when she needs it.

Sabrina, Christina, Tarzan and Alicia could all go from a position of outside the final 4 to guaranteeing them inside it by simply banding together. But they all suck. Tarzan and Christina both seem content to lose. Alicia and Christina are delusional and don't see the obvious. Its insane. They are all terrible players.

....she has to go down as one of THE dumbest players in Survivor history...Just as dumb as a bag of hammers...

She showed just how selfish and immature she was last night...and I'm glad it came back to bite her on the @ss...

It hasn't been a great season, but it hasn't been the worst. Getting rid of Colton was awesome, because if he'd have stuck around I wouldn't have been watching. I hate that the producers have to try and artificially manufacture the drama when it happens naturally every time. There is no need to have someone pre-planned as the villain, they emerge all by themselves.

That being said, once Colton left things brightened up. It was always going to be girls v. boys, I am just amazed at how stupidly the boys played it...None of those morans figured out that the girls were voting as a block until they were already in the minority...and even then they still kept on voting to diminish their numbers...Dummies...

The ladies have played a smart game, sticking together, albeit not a happy group all the time, but they followed the anti-boy plan to a tee...now things are going to start to get interesting...I think it will all hinge on whether Chelsea decides she wants to go up against Kim at the final TC, or whether she can make a HUGE move and vote Kim out before the end...

Kim, Chelsea, Sabrina have all played good games, and I would be happy with a finishing order like that, Christina appears to have coasted her way through, Tarzan is just a goofy older guy, and Alicia is a mean-spirited, intensely unlikable witch.

So, if Kim wins immunity going forward she will be untouchable UNLESS Chelsea can get Tarzan, Christina and Sabrina to go with her and vote Kim out. The problem is that Kim is such a physical threat, any hopes of a blindside depend upon Chelsea beating her at the challenges...

If the final TC is Kim/Chelsea I think it will be a split decision. If Kim DOESN'T go to the final TC and it's Chelsea/Anyone else Chelsea wins hand-down...

Either way it will be interesting to watch the final couple of episodes.

Overall the season has been about a B-, not great, not terrible. I think the 'two tribes living together' really didn't do much as the tribes still stuck as boys v girls for the duration of the season, probably just cut down costs for the production team, who knows, but I didn't miss Redemption Island at all.

I hope that next season will see a fresh new group, no returnees, separate camps, and no 'pre-planned villains'....you know, just how it used to be before they tried to fix what wasn't broken...Oh, and enough with the wannabe supermodels and Abercrombie dudes...let's have some 'regular' folks please...

It added nothing to the game. And as much as I detest the thought of it I wouldn't be surprised to see Colton come back on a later show. The producers like to have players on that the viewers love to hate. They would most likely play it up as "giving Colton a fair chance to complete the game because it was not his fault he had to leave".

8. I certainly agree Strange. I think the show jumped the shark when they brought back Rob

for the 400 time. Everyone kowtowed to him like he was a god. He wasnt physically fit and yet seemed to miraculously win physical challenges. The fix was clearly in and poor ole Russel didnt know he was being set up for the good guy destroys bad guy scene. I have no love lost for Russel and had to laugh when he realized his "bad guy" persona wasnt going to win.

I figure we will see Rob back with Amber and child in "Survivor: Family Island".

Kim dominated. So glad she won.
Troyzan is a little, petty man. He just couldn't stand it that a strong female beat him. lol

11. It wasn't a strong woman who won
Mon May 14, 2012, 09:00 AM

It was weak women who lost. Kim played against bad players, Troyzan included. It was a season of terrible play. Her moves were obvious. So obvious that dullards like Troyzan could see them. The fact is that he was too bad a player to be able to convince Kat, Alicia and Tarzan that they had no chance at winning with the plan that they were playing. The fact is these idiots did not see the obvious writing on the wall when Troyzan told them about it. This was a year of bad play. There have indeed been many great and very strong women on this show who have dominated the game and deserved to be placed among the elite players. Kim is nowhere near that level of player. Sandra, who is maybe the best player ever, along with Parvati, Amber and Jenna were all strong women who outplayed great players in each of their wins. Danni Boatwright beat probably the strongest woman to ever play in Stephanie LaGrossa. Kim is at best in the middle of the pack of winners. I don't think Troyzan cared at all that he was beaten by a woman. I think he cared that he was beaten by a bad player and that he played the right card but bad players let it go by. Maybe Kat, Christina and Alicia are happier that at least a woman won, but I think had they thought it through, either one of them would have done better in the finals against Troyzan and Tarzan than they would against Kim since those two men were pretty much hated on their own male tribe. I think had Troyzan got Christina, Alicia and Kat to realize that they had no chance to win with Kim in the game, one of those three would have won. Kim won the game and I give her props for winning, but as a fan of the game, I can hardly be excited by her dominance like I was when Parvati actually dominated great players. This was somewhat of a joke. It was bad casting, which is why the ratings have sucked. I went through the last 5 weeks not really caring who won. I am going to give it one more chance, but I fear this show just jumped the shark.

Parvati controlled her alliance and had to beat some very good players like Cirie and Amanda, plus she manipulated James and Ozzy to give her complete control. I think her game was very strong.

...he didn't fold when he was out-numbered and he fought 'til the very end...if Alicia/Kat/Christina weren't so completely fugging stupid, they could have blindsided Kim and the whole game would have changed, but none of them had the sense to do the math...

Not sure what Colton's deal is, and if he goes on the show again (which almost look assured) he had better be the first person off or I will stop watching. I KNEW that his act was a put-on, and that ANGERS me...the producers of the show don't have to manufacture the drama, it happens naturally..

I thought that Tarzan was the most 'out of it' player, but it turns out that Alicia is much, MUCH further along in the 'delusion sweepstakes'....she really thinks she would have won if Kim had taken her instead??? Not in a MILLION years...

I am very impressed with Kat...she was naiive and dumb as hell during the game, but her speech at the final TC was jaw-dropping...

I am quite surprised that Chelsea got ZERO votes...what is up with that? She fought like HELL at times in the game, MUCH more so than Sabrina...Her biggest flaw was not blind-siding Kim when she had the chance...

So, Kim took it all, and she deserved it. She played the game very well, wasn't mean, nasty or smug about it, and she seems to be a genuinely nice person. I bet her ex-husband feels pretty fucking stupid right about now....

And finally, last season's most mentioned player, Jesus, only featured once, may be twice this season, and he was not missed AT ALL....maybe the producers figured out that the Holy-Rollers were getting on everyone's nerves...but when Sabrina brought him up in one of the middle episodes she was very quick to add the caveat 'you know, in the context of us playing a game for a million dollars'....nice save....

As for next season there are going to be three returning players (really? come on...) and three tribes...As stated I hope that Colton is the first to go because he fucks up my favourite guilty-pleasure show worse than Russell, and I thought I would NEVER write those words..

I believe Colton is a racist bigot. I know that participants intentionally act different on survivor, but who would think that acting like a racist bigot would be helpful? I even think his early departure may have been because of his behavior and not some mystery illness. At the reunion, he continued to give half-assed apologies and his mother said she was disappointed in his responses to Jeff. Also, did you notice the crowd's reaction when Jeff compared him to Russel? People love bad boys like Russel, and some others before him, but I dont think anyone roots for a racist.

I agree that Kim did an excellent job. She won challenges esp when she needed them. She orchestrated the demise of many, if not most and still kept her dignity. The high vote for her is proof to me.

Dont know why Kim took Sabrina to finals instead of Christina. Nor why Sabrina got votes.

I cant believe Christina can work in sales. She had nothing.

I didnt like Troyzan. I thought he over played his masculinity and paid for it.

I was totally surprised that Rob didnt come parachuting in at some point.

I liked this season, but any season w/o Rob or Russel is a good season.

I enjoyed it. Not as much as some of the past seasons but it was OK. I did love the strong women, I kept thinking they would cave or one would and screw it up. They actually held together.

Best moment ever in this show was Cat talking about how funny blindsides were and then the look on her face and her reaction as she was blindsided moments later. It was priceless and oh so deserved. I actually watched that part again, almost hate to admit that but....

I have one question about the reunion show. It was bleeped out with a misplaced ad when Coulton was talking about the things he had said. Was that just here in puritan Brownbackistan? If so could someone tell me what he said? We could not believe it, an ad came on as he started talking about how he really feels and stopped as he was throwing his hands up around his face after he finished. Must have been something.

I thought the ending was good, I think the winner deserved it and I liked her all the way through.

I almost hate to admit that I have watched every one of these shows. I started with my boys, we would talk about it and had fun watching and I find I just have to keep watching. They are grownup now and away but one of them still watches too so we still talk about it now and again. I was very very very happy that this last season did not have all the continual prayer. My husband and I almost decided not to watch again because it was so annoying, especially the last season so it was a relief to have Jesus not actively playing this time. Somehow I doubt he really cares much about people lying to earn a million bucks but that is just my opinion.

15. Jeff Probst Sucks
Mon May 14, 2012, 05:44 PM
May 2012

he always seems to give most attention to guys . last year Sophie and this time Kim should have been given more time to talk about their game. i'm guessing if they had played it in a way of flirting wiht guys or something he would have. but i guess he is bored by people(especially women) who do well without be offensive to other people.

i think Kim is one of the best players. she did well playing the first time. she didn't even have to use her idol. she was able to mostly keep the respect of those she voted out. Troyzan is a sexist so she wasn't going to win his vote no matter what. but Probst will continue to claim someone like Rob who is allowed on the show multiple times until he wins is the great player. and dumbasses like Ozzy who may do well is physical challenges but is horrible with the social game and still hasn't won.
