I loved the British comedy show "Green Wing!" Any other recs?

I thought it was brilliant. A cross between Monty Python and Mr. Bean. Are there any other off the wall comedies worth checking out? I also loved "Detectorists."

Both on BritBox and hilarious.

We watched a little of detectorists... Rosemary and Thyme might be something you like as well. Or off to Acorn with Brokenwood Mysteries

Black Books.
A similar American offering would be Scrubs.
A more adult themed choice would be Episodes. (not for every taste but very funny).

It's very funny except I hate laugh tracks.

10. I love Brit tv. I will check out Green Wing as Im almost done with....

Jack Whitehalls Travels with My Father. HILARIOUS!!!! Ive never laughed so hard over any tv show....some serious moments but mostly ROTFL. NO laff trax!


But other recommends are anything with Martin Clune, The Darling Buds of May, The Man who Lost his Head, Doc Martin (of course), The IT Crowd (another rotfl)

and for something less hilarious but so good: The Midsomer Murders

Ive got Acorn..any thoughts re: the difference between the two?
