What Were The CBS Execs Thinking When They Canceled 'So Help Me Todd'?...

That show is terrific. It's a perfect blend of a courtroom/lawyer drama and a fun comedy.

One falls for all the characters as the character development is executed perfectly. They worked together and pulled it off that made each of them believable.

The show was just getting it's stride and like always these braniacs pulled the plug just as it was attracting its audience.

Instead they're putting their bets on a Columbo ripoff - Elsbeth. They substituted a woman to portray the Colombo role. Boring. It's been done before.

I'm hoping that fans of 'So Help Me Todd' start a campaign for CBS to reconsider their decision.

This was one show I look forward to watching every week. I was sure it was going to have a long run.

So if you are also a fan of 'Todd' like me - please contact CBS and get them to re-evaluate their decision.

Bring back 'So Help Me Todd'.

I think Elsbeth is a spin off from The Good Wife/Fight...and those shows paid a lot of bills for CBS. CincyDem Apr 20 #1

I love me some Todd but CBS is probably banking on Elsbeth keeping/reacquiring some of the Good Wife audience, especially if they do cameos or story line references. I haven't seen it so I can't comment but you're right about Todd.

I watched it once and liked it but was waiting until I could sit down and watch the season. I love Marcia Gay Harden, she is always good. I met and had a nice long stge door conversation with Skylar when he was doing Spring Awakening. A very nice young man, in no hurry (most were like that) and he explained to me how he was able to jump so high. I cannot remember what he said but he and IIRC John Gallagher Jr. explained it. Anyway, sorry about the trip through my mind, he is a good guy and the little I have seen him he impressed me with his acting. I guess I will watch re-runs. Too bad.

Elsbeth played by Carrie Preston won an Emmy as Elsbeth Tascioni during the Good Wife. Would like to see CBS devote Friday night to So Help Me Todd, Elsbeth, and Matlock starting the Fall of 2024. Please get involved at https://www.facebook.com/groups/savetodd and there is also a Change dot org Petition to sign.

I was really interested to see where the relationship between Todd and that flower shop girl was headed. One of the many storylines I'll miss...
