Survivor Philippines - Wow

I'm sorry I have not been posting much to the group recently. I have been extremely busy. I have been taping (or as my kids call it "dvr'ing&quot Survivor and a few other shows and trying to catch up. The storm in NY shut down my office, so it let me catch up on a number of shows on the DVR.

So far I am LOVING this season of survivor. I always liked Skupin, and I think he got stuck on a bad tribe. I really dislike that Brazilian woman and Pete. They are horribly annoying. I was very impressed with Lisa at that last tribal. I think Diane is my favorite player this year. I am hoping her or Skupin wins it. I like Penner, but just for the comedy.

Anyway, hope everyone is well here. I hope to post more, but you all understand that sometimes life takes up a lot of time.

1. Denise and Malcolm are my favorites.

I've never seen anybody pull out the immunity idol and not use it! What did Probst mean when he said it was the biggest opportunity missed in Survivor history?

Cheap shot Jeff took at Obama.

2. I missed the Obama shot

What was it?

I was blown away that neither of them played the idol. I think the biggest missed opportunity was Penner's group failing to oust Pete and losing Jeff. That group came in down 2 and could have ousted RC and Pete, two power players from the other tribe and controlled the rest of the game by playing with Skupin. The first one of them to go was Jeff. I expect Carter goes soon too.

But Penner and Skupin are too smart not to shake this up. I think Lisa knows who she wants to play with. They know its too dangerous to take Pete Artis and Abi too far. I could see Denise and Malcom joining up with Skupin Penner and Lisa to oust Pete Artis and Abi. As long as Abi does not win I will be okay. I really dislike her. She is evil and nasty. Not in a good way to watch either.

3. Abi is definitely evil and nasty...and I don't like Artis.

When Jeff was doing his 30 second monologue after he got booted he was complaining because they prize really wasn't even a milllion, it was only $600,000 after Obama gets his cut. Pretty cheesy.

I thought that episode was really confusing. There were too many people making too many deals...I completely lost track! Once the tribes merge, I can never remember who was on which team.

Love this season! Denise is amazing and I hope she makes it to the final.

She is a beast!! Malcolm is good too so far.

I did think contestant Jeff was pretty arrogant, and his shot at Obama was cheap. Oh gee, winning is 'only' $600,000. Pocket change to you I guess Jeff. I was not sorry to see him go. He seemed more indignant that he was voted out than disappointed if that makes sense. Like he thought he was entitled to stay until the end and be given the title because HE should have it.

I can't stand Abi, she's nasty and nuts but I think she'd be fun to see at final tribal, just to hear her justify her lovely behavior AND hear what the jury would say to her. You know that if she remains her nastiness will only continue to worsen.

This season is definitely keeping my attention, there's so much going on, so much play. This past week when they got to the vote, I said to my husband, I really had no idea which way it could go.

9. I am hoping that she goes soon

I really hate Abi. I have to say, Denise is by far the best overall player. She rocks at camp and at challenges and she has a great social game. I would not want to take her to the finals. But if she is there, it is her game to lose at this point. But there is a lot of time left.
