The premise sounds interesting and I read it is a remake of a French-Belgian show.
How graphic is the show? I'm pretty squeamish, and my husband and I usually watch
TV during the dinner hour. Is it comparable to Midsomer Murders or Vera? Or is it
much more graphic. Thanks for any advice!

(33,170 posts)It is more puzzle solving than graphic. The actress playing the lead is autistic. There are other autistics in the cast. There is a woman who has only one hand. I like the inclusion of these people. I have an adult daughter who is autistic and also has ADHD.

(20,859 posts)The only ick I got on the last episode I watched was her pets. It wasn't graphic at all.
Iʻd be happier if PBS mysteries didn't always involve a dead person but I guess that's why they are mysteries?
I don't remember Midsomer
murders or Vera, sorry.

(35,581 posts)Astrid is in French with English subtitles. Patience seems slow to me, but okay.
I don't recall any gore in the few episodes that I've seen. You should be OK. ❤️
