In her first TV gig since her memorable season-long arc on House, Amber Tamblyn has signed on as the female lead opposite Skeet Ulrich in the CBS drama pilot Anatomy Of Violence, written and executive produced by Homelands Howard Gordon, Alex Gansa and Alex Cary and directed by Mark Pellington. Inspired by the nonfiction book by Adrian Raine, the 20th TV-produced drama centers on Raines (Ulrich), a maverick FBI Criminal Psychiatrist with an expertise in sociopaths who partners with Abby (Tamblyn), a young female FBI Agent with whom he shares a conflicted past. Abby joined the Bureau after watching her sister get traumatized at the hands of a gunman thirteen years ago. Anatomy of Violence brings Tamblyn back to CBS where she broke out as the star of drama series Joan Of Arcadia, which earned her an Emmy nomination.

(20,043 posts)I was pissed when it was cancelled. The storyline had taken a really good turn. I like Amber Tamblyn. I will give this a try.
As if I need anything else added to my tv schedule.

(22,000 posts)That slimeball Les Moonves is the reason the show got canceled.
They also screwed up the entire CSI franchise by canceling CSI Miami and letting second rate has been actors on CSI Las Vegas (for the record I have never like CSI NY for some reason). CSI is dead to me!!!! CBS is dead to me!!!
I watch a lot of the series on cable (TNT, FX, HBO). The only thing is they have very short seasons (like 13 episodes) and may only run for a few months a year. The only two shows I watch on the major networks are Community (which is in its last season), and Scandal (which hopefully will get picked up for another year).

(22,000 posts)I'm really getting sick of the "Big 4" and their programming. Most of the shows I watch now are on the cable channels. The only trade off is shorter seasons.

(42,770 posts)good girl cop who was extremely wealthy but still wanted to be a cop. Lots of sexual tension
On IMDB it had a 7.8 out of 10 rating which is pretty good
