As a 60 something yr old, I certainly knew about the Dust Bowl, but watching this program I really learned so much more. I had no idea of how long it lasted, how it affected the people other than they just went West, how they were treated when they got there, absentee landowner 'farmers', dust pneumonia, and so many other things. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the country's history, how the Dust Bowl came about and how it was turned around.
I still think about what was shown in this program and how it could so easily happen again.
