Related: About this forumI am glad Major Crimes is back.
I liked The Closer quite a bit, and it took time to warm up to Mary McDowells' speech acting style of Sharon Raydor. Now I cannot imagine the show without her in the ensemble. I am also looking forward to the continuation of Julio Sanchez' story line.

OP
Yeah, I didn't understand the point of having Rusty's storyline in this episode.

I understand Sharon still having him tailed but the whole "I need to write a story" was uninteresting.

I liked the first season of that, and hated when it ended.
I have an hour and 5 minutes til it starts here...

I loved the Closer, too.
I especially like the trust she has in her detectives to do their job.
I think the young man who plays Rusty should win an award for his acting. He has masterfully played his role by combining vulnerbility, yet strength.
