Creator of The Wire and Treme and Homicide Life On the Street is filming a new series called

Show Me a Hero.

Plot Summary:
Mayor Nick Wasicsko took office in 1987 during Yonkers' worst crisis when federal courts ordered public housing built in the white, middle class side of town, dividing the city in a bitter battle fueled by fear, racism, murder and politics.

Something to look forward to, no word on when it will be available, but usually filming now means late fall/early new year.
