Haven't watched for at least 15 years, and had a chance to see the beginning of it, and just wow.....everyone is still there from 15 years ago. Older looking, but so am I but wow, they're all STILL there. Donna Mills looks exactly the same......

when I was in the service, all we had overseas for American television was the Armed Forces Radio Television Service (affectionately known as "a-farts&quot .

Well, at that time there was only one channel for TV, and during lunch those of us at the air station would watch, that's right, GH!

And it was almost cliche; at first we tough service guys ridiculed and mocked to whole experience, but hey - nothing else to watch - so we did. And before long... we were hooked. And if duty caused someone to miss an episode, they would want to know what happened to so and so. It was pretty funny actually, all these guys sitting around talking so and sos baby, etc.

Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately!) when I rotated back to the states, and tried to pickup the show again, I found that we'd been watching episodes from a few seasons back, and so I had no clue about any of the current intricacies of the plot - so my interest essentially evaporated.

Bottom line: "tough guys" can get hooked on the soaps too.

Thanks for the memory bump!

and be totally caught up on who's who and what's going on, too.

But Donna Mills has only been on GH for about a year, I think.

The first time starting at about 11 until I was 18 or 19, then again a bit in college and after I graduated. I met the guy who plays Max Scorpio in the late 90's. Then when I moved to Korea I stared watching it again until I started my doctorate in 2010 when I decided to give it up cold turkey. I fudged during the 50th anniversary and watched for 7 or 8 days just to see everything surrounding the GH ball and once Lulu disappeared (which is when the actress who played her left and then another actress replaced her) and Luke and Laura went off looking for her I stopped watching and haven't seen then.

As much as I loved the show, I probably won't watch it anymore.
