I love the Muppets and I wanted to love this show. But it fell flat. I know the original can ever be repeated but I don't know what was wrong with having guests perform and skits in between. I HATED the story where Miss Piggy was pitted against Kermit's new girlfriend pig.

Why not give the younger generation something to enjoy while adding the adult humor for the parents?

I loved the premise and was hoping for more Muppet schtick and less back story. I think the producers tried to fix this toward the end but they had already lost their audience.

And, well, let's face it ... they've never been quite the same after Jim Henson died.

video essayists of all time.

His contemporary spin of an aging jaded boomer and overall irreverence, combined with a deep hearted appreciation of tradition and roots makes his storytelling unique and consequential.

On his newest show, nothing could be more hilarious than when he or someone else invokes, "This...is CNN" -- and you know what? It really is!
