Bookmans employees at Speedway, Wilmot vote to unionize
TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Employees at the Bookmans location at Speedway and Wilmot voted Tuesday to unionize.
They will join the United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW) Local 99 and become the first bookstore workers in the state to form a union.
Bookmans is based in Tucson but has locations in Phoenix, Mesa, and Flagstaff. 13 News has reached out to the union to see if any of the other stores plan to unionize.
13 News has also reached out to Booksman for comment on the most recent development.
