Arizona man (?) accused of election fraud captured in Hawaii

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man indicted on multiple charges in connection with alleged election fraud in Arizona has been arrested in Hawaii.

Brent Kusama, 53, was running for Arizona’s Cochise County Constable position in 2021 when prosecutors say he allegedly falsified signatures on nomination petitions.

Honolulu police picked him up on Jan. 2 in Waikiki along Lewers Street, and he appeared in court Wednesday.

The prosecuting attorney’s office said he waived his rights to an extradition hearing and his bail was set at $10,000,
