Winds of change?

Today in my far west valley very large senior community (you know the one), 3 library patrons in a row (I was the 3rd) walked past a publican party canvasser who was inviting signatures and each said "I'm not a Republican" When I entered the library, the volunteer near the door asked what was going on outside. When I told her, she said " Oh well, I'm not a Republican." Now this doesn't mean they're all Democrats, but believe me, 20 years ago when I moved here, NOBODY said they weren't Republicans (except me and DH).

Had she parked outside a Wal Mart, she'd have found plenty of suckers.

place inside our community for such activity and draws only from our community. The Walmart is far outside it and doesn't draw heavily from this community. That's how I know this is a big change.
